What payment methods are available?

We happily accept checks, cash, as well as credit cards (with a small fee) for any of the work we do.

What is your service area?

We are located in Powhatan Va and offer services to all surrounding counties in the central Va area.

What sort of licenses & certifications do you have?

We are licensed to operate within the State of Virginia for all your Land & Site Prep Needs. We are also permitted for projects with land disturbance classifications. 

Should the utilities be marked before a contractor comes out to complete a project?

We handle calling in a utility ticket to mark out most major utility lines. Any private utilities such as dog fences, private electric lines, etc. should be marked by the homeowner if possible. Always, communicate with your excavation contractor ahead of time to determine if all utilities are marked appropriately. 

Can you provide a list of references?

We would love to point you towards some similar jobs we have completed in the past to give you a great idea of what you can expect when working together with us!

How do you communicate with your clients?

We would love to help answer any questions you have throughout the entire process of working together. We are an open book and want to ensure a smooth experience working on your project.

Is all of your work insured?

Yes, all of the work completed by Ellinghausen Grading is licensed and insured
